Preparation for visit to Whampoa(Ohana)
Hi 42nd jie!:DToday, the year 2s went white washing with the exception of those performing. The songleaders sang their songs i guess at least.... 20 times per song. LOL. But i guess those who love singing wouldn't mind at all:D Some other yr 2s performed for the skit. For the performance items on actual day, we will have lion dance, followed by bamboo dance, the skit, lao shu ai da mi by year 1s, and lastly a sing-along by the songleaders.

Kayaking(21st March)
Hi ppl! Today we had our kayaking, VERY FUN!!!!XD In the morning, we learnt how to rescue the capsized victim. There is a rescuer, rescuer assistant and victim. Everyone took turns to play a role. Dun see the victim get rescued like very slack kay. The poor victim had to hug onto the boat kick here kick there. The rescuer gotta pull it up and sometimes hand kiap in between *painpain*. Very tiring i bet=.= LOL. Anyways, biggest joke of the day. Yajun was the rescuer, Irene assistant, Anyi victim. But irene ended up capsizing too. LOL. Then Yajun RESCUED BOTH SOLO. *Claps Claps* PROOOO~!@#@ Afterwards, we finished ours earlier then the other groups and we start raft then the instructors told us some interesting story. There is an island that is called Frog Island. Why? Cause it looks like a frog and someone went to use liquid paper draw two eyes.-.- Another one was they discovered a cat-meow meow-ing in the kayak and tried to get it out. So cute!After lunch, we learnt more kayaking skills, suck as jaystroke(move sideways), classic draw(paddle underwater without leaving), low spot recovery, etc etc. Everyone felt like capsizing cos the sea was just so shuang. Even now i been feeling so floaty as if I'm floating about. After a long tiring day, it suddenly rained and we quickly moved back the kayaks and went under the shelter. We sang songs and the instructor told us to sing the titanic song without 'sad' and 'ship' and it was so hilarious. I could see how much everyone enjoyed themselves! :D Then we went back to wash the kayaks. The instructor gave us 40 mins bath and said come back for theory test end up go home afterwards, rush for nothing. But maybe we should learn to bath faster and think of others. Anyone interested in two star kayaking? Haha. I'm sure today have bonded us even closer as one jie4. Jy Year 2s!

Hi im SEEHIAN :DHmm, since we havent come up with a jie motto yet, we cant really decide on a proper design for the shirt too.
thus why dont we start thinking about the TYPES of shirt, as well as the COLOURS of the shirts we want?
Like, what type of materials do you want the shirt to be? Do you want it to be like our year1 orientation teeshirt (dry fit) or atc08 shirt (cotton)?
& do you all want a collar or not?
yep, please go think about it & we shall have a vote on saturday. Each patrol will be given a slip of paper den each person just write down their choices. hopefully, the slips of papers can be collected back then and then we can tally the results (: (if not, we would collect on some other day of the 1st week of school. details to be confirmed)
so in the meantime, just think of WHAT MATERIAL, WHAT BASE COLOUR, AND WHAT WORDS COLOUR you want(:

Ps. After lunch we learnt spot turn, sweep stroke, forward paddle backwards paddle. It was fun kayaking as one jie. It bonded us even more!Love guides:)

Kayaking Course on 14th May
Hi ppl! How was our kayaking last saturday? Very fun right!XD. Water Venture @ Changi was sort of similar to the one at Pasir Ris, but there were lots of mosquitoes! D: We learnt embarking, how to capsize(i had to redo four time-.-), and empty the water from the kayak. During lunch we went to Changi Village Hawker and i was so bloated >.< style="color: rgb(204, 51, 204);">Jy Year 2s for the upcoming kayaking test! Good luck and all the best!
